By using Meridian you agree to these terms.
Using Meridian
- Meridian is a study tool. Use it honestly, and follow your school's rules on academic integrity.
- Only upload material you have the right to use, and ask before recording a class.
- Don't misuse the service (for example, trying to break it or overload the AI).
Friends and study rooms
Be kind. Choose a username that isn't offensive and doesn't impersonate anyone. Only add people you know, and remove anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
Community rules
Meridian has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post bullying, harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, or anything illegal in your name, username, room names or goals. Meridian filters offensive words automatically. You can report or block anyone from the People button in a study room, and room hosts can remove people. We review every report within 24 hours and will remove the content and suspend or delete the account of anyone who breaks these rules.
AI content
Study materials are generated by AI from your notes and can contain mistakes. Check anything important against your notes, textbook or teacher.
Exam prep
Practice questions are original and written by AI in the style of each exam; they are not official test questions, and score estimates are rough guides. SAT and AP are trademarks of the College Board, and ACT is a trademark of ACT, Inc.; Meridian isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. School and test dates come from published calendars and can change, so check your school's official calendar.
Other services
Some features show content from other services under their own terms: Spotify (music player), YouTube (videos), Canvas and your school's calendar (if you connect them).
Your content
You own what you add. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you. You can delete it at any time.
Payments and refunds
Meridian is free today and we don't charge anything. Meridian Plus is not on sale yet. When it launches, the price, what's included and how to cancel will be shown clearly before you pay, with no hidden fees and no automatic charge you haven't agreed to. Canceling will be one click in Settings and will stop future renewals. If you're charged by mistake, or you ask within 14 days of your first payment and haven't used the paid features, we'll refund you in full; email meridianstudyapp@gmail.com. Prices and refund rules for Plus will be added here before it goes on sale.

Copyright
Only share notes, files and other material you have the right to share. If you believe something on Meridian infringes your copyright, email a notice to meridianstudyapp@gmail.com with: your contact details; the work you say is infringed; where the material is on Meridian; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're the owner or authorized to act for them; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove material that's the subject of a valid notice, and accounts that repeatedly infringe can be closed. If your material was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address.
